Story:-Christopher Plummer recreates his Tony-winning performance in the film version of William Luce's acclaimed stage play "Barrymore," in which Plummer gives a haunting portrayal of legendary thespian John Barrymore. The full-length feature was filmed over seven days in Toronto's Elgin Theater, where Canadian director Erik Canuel (TVs Flashpoint, Good Cop Bad Cop) used HD cameras to capture, essentially, a one-man play -- although the recent Oscar-Winner does share the screen with a concealed stage manager played by John Plumpis. BY Experience, the NY-based distributor that specializes in live cinema events, will release the film in theaters this fall. In the meantime, you can check out the film's trailer which indicates Plummer, who at 82, is seemingly getting better with age.
